Bonjour, I am Alexia, I am a native French speaker and I was born and raised in France. I have been teaching French for several years to people from all over the world and I participated in the Alliance Française ("DAEFLE") to become a certified teacher. I had the pleasure of helping more than 1000 students coming from many different countries, both big ones such as the USA, UK, Australia, Germany...but also smaller ones like Iceland, New Zealand, Perù, Panama and many more. Also, I have lived in 3 French-speaking countries: France (in Paris), Canada (in Quebec) and Switzerland (in Lausanne), which allowed me to understand all the linguistic differences in the French language. The course is designed for English speakers. As English and French are quite different languages, in most of the course I speak in English, so it will be easier for you to understand the main concepts, and it will make the transition to French smoother and easier to understand.
